Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and [YOUR REGISTERED ENTITY NAME] (ABN [ABN]) (“we”, “us”), the operator of fplshark.com(“FPL Shark”). By creating an account or using the site you accept them. If you don't accept them, please don't use FPL Shark.

1. What FPL Shark is

FPL Shark is an analytics tool for Fantasy Premier League. It shows statistics, projections and predictions to help you make your own decisions. It is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Premier League, Fantasy Premier League, or any football club.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
  • You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account.
  • Give us accurate information, and keep your email address current.
  • One person per account. Don't share logins.

3. Membership and billing

  • FPL Shark has a free tier and a paid membership at US$5.00 per month.
  • New members get a 14-day free trial. We collect card details when the trial starts, and the first payment is taken when it ends unless you cancel first.
  • Membership renews automatically each month until cancelled. Cancel anytime from Settings; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • Prices are in US dollars. Your bank may apply currency conversion or international fees that we don't control.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
  • If a payment fails we may retry it and may suspend your membership if it keeps failing.
  • We may change the price. If we do, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email, and the change won't affect the period you've already paid for.

Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

4. Acceptable use

Please don't:

  • Scrape, bulk-download, resell or redistribute data from FPL Shark.
  • Share your account, or attempt to access paid features without a membership.
  • Probe, attack or disrupt the service, or try to access other users' data.
  • Use FPL Shark for anything unlawful, or in breach of the Premier League's own terms.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

5. Data accuracy — please read

FPL Shark relies on data published by third parties, including the Fantasy Premier League API. That data can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong, and the API can change without notice. Predicted line-ups are predictions, not facts. Ownership figures are estimates based on a sample of leagues, not a complete census.

You are responsible for your own team decisions. We don't guarantee any particular result, rank, or outcome, and we're not liable for decisions you make using the site.

6. Availability

We aim to keep FPL Shark available but we don't promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we permanently close the service, we'll refund any unused portion of a paid period.

7. Intellectual property

The FPL Shark name, branding, site and original analysis are ours. Underlying football statistics belong to their respective owners. You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial fantasy football purposes.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use FPL Shark after that means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE, e.g. Victoria], Australia, and the courts there have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
